I told you it would run with just a little work. it could have been on the road for less then 300 more bucks into it. a little work on the brakes and a carb kit. I really hope he doesnt cut it up to bad into a rat rod, I know they said something about a rat rod.

oh well some of the money i got out of it is going to get my old 76 ford F150 back on the road. it has a dead lifter killing one of it's cylinders and the master cylinder and brake booster are bad.

oh well I wont miss it as bad as I miss my VW Bug

Thinking of selling the DRZ. Somebody talk me out of it.

Not spamming here. That will come later.

Does it have to be an impact? I've never used an impact on a sprocket.

I probably have a 6 point standard that would fit it but it's in 1 inch drive sockets. i think a 1 1/4 inch fits the nut on the raptor.

I have one, that is the GSXR1000 axle nut size. It's not an impact but you shouldn't be using air powered tools on a output shaft anyways. It's bad on the shifter forks and gears hammering on them with air. Heat gun on the nut and they come loose with a 1/2" pull handle. At worst a pipe added to pull handle will pop it loose.

WELL, it's not rocket science but do as you may. I just laid the seriousness out there of what you are dealing with. It is a lot more delicate behind those cases than you may think.

And BTW what do I know, I've only changed 100's of them in my short life, some twice in the same day. But I'm sure I pale in comparison to the tiger group knowledge base

Dear Roy (and anyone else who may have taken offense at my posting)

I apologize and in no way meant to cause harm to anyone's reputation or self esteem. I in no way meant to belittle or discredit anyone's expertise, experience or knowledge.

Since everything I post seems to cause an angry reaction, I will once again avoid posting, since I have no way to know how or when I will offend anyone on the forum.

Again, I apologize to everyone and no I'll will was intended.

Sincerely,

Backwoodsklr

Damn Edwin... That time of month again? Feeling overly sensitive? Too much Christmas spirit? I mean, damn, it's just Roy. If he's not bitching and moaning, he must be passed out.

I've changed many in my life and will not use an impact there, but wouldn't get my shorts in a twist if you didn't kiss my toes and declare me right, king, and master of bike smarts, about it. Hell, I would still help out, then give you shit if you broke something. But that's just me.

You know Roy likes to mess with you, sounded to me like he was just giving you shit. That, or he's an insecure asshole. Either way, not your problem.

So, when we tearing your bike up?

Yes, that's probably the same guy UJ. He was an aircraft mechanic, I believe.
