Oddly enough, that's the only time I've ever left there happy. Even then I pretty much walked in and said "I have $6000 cash in this envelope here and I want to buy that Vstrom over there, send Carl out now or I'm walking out the door."

well what does it take to Kill a 660 Raptor? one little thing, this.

that was in the oil pump. and from the looks of the internals of the oil pump that's not the first piece to get in there.

now I just have to figure out how that got past the screen filter in the bottom of the motor.

Introduction

I guess it's time I go ahead and introduce myself.... My name is Brad and I am buying Backwoods' KLR. Wow, that felt strangely like an introduction at one of those self help meetings... Anyway, I'm 32 and live in Brandon. It's been 10 years since I owned a bike and I'm new to adventure riding. I had a Jeep for a while which quickly turned into a trail rig, so when I was looking for a commuter bike it was only natural to gravitate toward this genre of dual sport riding. I can tell I'm already going to be hooked. I look forward to riding with you guys soon.

You were supposed to wait until after you took possession of the KLR so these clowns wouldn't say bad things about me or the bike!!

Welcome to ADV!!
