In the Jeep it easy as can be!!!! I don't know if I want to do again on a bike. Once may be enough. Especially with my one bike being the Tiger now!

Roy said when he was out there, the sign said NO to bikes and ATV's on Black Bear... Don't remember seeing them banned when we went on bikes...

BW, that was nice! That last little bit had me puckering. I don't care what people think, the best thing as I see it would be to haul out and ride and haul back. That way you could tag team drive/sleep and get there in 21 hours. I've never been out west other than Oregon where it's very green. That terrain is all foreign to me.

I need to start looking for a bigger trailer. My little three rail trailer won't haul my Tiger. I'd love to haul it behind the Jeep and be able to hit trails in the Jeep or the bike!

Hey DQ: Looks like both your bikes are KTM's now... BMW had put a lot of money into the new models and shared parts!!!!

KTM CEO Stefan Pierer buys Husqvarna motorcycle brand from BMW Motorrad

Okay, so not really a KTM but held by a sister company...

Not sure why everyone makes this a big deal. I've rode harder downhill stuff at Satartia, MS.

FWIW I'm headed back west last week of May first week of June but I'm skipping CO and going straight to Moab, UT.

How about I just make you a good deal on a low hour 2002 KTM 400 that is easily converted to a dual sport.

I took a pic at the entrance off 550 but it didn't turn out to good. The bottom 3 things on bottom row include motorcycles and atv's maybe you can zoom on it as it's not real clear on iPhone. BTW that's my riding buddy that day Max from El Paso doing a geo cache.
