Beautiful.
I've stayed there a few times... Nice place especially if you wanna do some fishing. It's a resort though so not really secluded from other guests. Although its secluded from civilization. It's close enough to Branson for a day trip if ya get the urge. There are lots of cabins in that area that aren't so much fishing camps also. Check out Jasper, AR along Hwy 7 also. I remember seeing a bunch along that route.

I'm wanting something, preferably with no neighbors. The farther in the woods the better.

Depending on what she wants to shoot she may want to consider makes other than Canon. I love my Canon bodies and lenses but you can get nice Nikon Nikkor lenses for a lot less than what Canon L glass costs. Canon seems to be better for landscapes and wildlife as well as astral photography. Nikon seems better for portraits. I've been thinking of getting a Nikon for portraits because the IQ just seems better than my Canon for portraits.

to day was productive. and since a few of you showed a little intrest in my Ford project. got started around 9 this morning took a hour to eat lunch and drove it at 4:15.

Today it got a rebuilt Steering gear, new brake booster and master cylinder, and the rebuilt motor. Next weekend it will get a new AC dryer, expansion valve and some expensive R134, the truck drives and stops better then it has in 10 years. and runs better then it has in 5.

so here's that monster motor where it belongs. it's blury because it was running and that motor moves when it runs.

and here's what a truck should sound like.

That wasn't a joke. I think you said that happened to you, after a night of drinking, during your college years. (Not that there is anything wrong with that)

So I'm flipping through the channels and I come across this show on Discovery called "The Devil's Ride". Apparently Discovery is trying to pass this off as a real documentary of two 1%er motorcycle clubs. 2 questions, 1. Does anybody actually believe this is real, and 2. Didn't discovery already get caught faking moonshiners r something?
