Hello hello

I'm a rocking NOLA Motorsports park this weekend

Pit

The place is huge and flat. Mosquitos will literally eat you st sundown. Love bugs splat big at 170 mph.

On a high note I'm at the WERA 600cc expert times right now with only 20 laps under my belt. Track is extremely fast and flowing. Btw those good times were set today on tires I ran at Barber two weeks ago. I got rained out after lunch today. No riding so I mounted up a new set of Michelin Pilot Cups, I'm going to push hard in the morning sessions to drop my lap times into the 40's. This track is immense in scale, 2.75 Miles, 16 turns and a 3400' front straight which my 1000 is rolling apart. Btw at the end of that straight is a 90 degree right hand turn.

Anyone riding this afternoon? I want to wear out my knobby from Colorado trip so I can go back to the Shinko and get rid of that road noise!

Somewhat new to the forum

Well, it took me only 9 years to finally read through the almost 900 page Jackson, MS thread. But I finally got it!

I know some of you on here and some I just know by name from conversations but I'll introduce myself, in case I haven't already.

My name is Bryan. I finally combined two of the the things I enjoy the most....riding dirt bikes and riding street. I can't believe I waited this long because the past couple days have been a hoot. Midnight dirt road riding and Saturday exploring has been an absolute hoot. Luckily, I had my GPS(Gordy positioning system)....thanks JC for the new nickname for Jeff. The flat was just an excuse to go ahead and put new treads on the bike. Looking forward to meeting new people and riding with old riding buddies

As you can see.....my shoe had a flat too....Dangit

Welcome, you should make plans to attend the Don't Fall Rally in October. A lot of the local riding misfits.. I mean great guys, will be there. There is a thread started for the rally with sign up info and more.

I will do my best to make that ride. It's been years since I've been there and it was on an old yz250 I think. It seems a lot of you are heading to Arkansas this weekend. I want to get some riding in Sunday afternoon. New tires should be on before the weekend so I need an excuse to break them in!
