I'd say that's a fair trade for your Husky.

With that mileage, what could possibly need work?

Not much. Shift linkage, brake repair, and straighten the crash bar. It seems to be pretty tight.

So at lunch today, I come out of the restaurant and see some flyer / card /advertising crap on my bike. So I wad it up and throw it in the tank bag since there isn't a trash can close by. Ride back to work and actually read it while walking to the trash can and it appears someone has started a mobile motorcycle / ATV service. Oil changes, tires changes, accessories installed, etc at your location. Also offer road side assistance. Wonder if they come down the single track to help assist us out of the creekbed or mudhole?!?

Y'all be careful out there...

So, we got caught in the rain on our ride yesterday and split up in Terry. KW, KS, and I took I-55 back to Rankin County. We stopped at Cups in Dogwood for KW and after saying bye, I headed on up Old Fannin. one would think that with my extra bright LED tail lights, that I'd be pretty visible, but apparently not, if the driver is inattentive. I stopped to turn into my neighborhood... Left foot down, right foot on rear brake (keeping light on) and turn signal going, waiting for a break in traffic. I hear tires squealing and think it is someone pulling out of my neighborhood going the other way but turn my head to the right in time to see a full size dodge truck slide past me. The drivers door was beside me before I saw it. He slid through the orange barrels, off the asphalt into the new (now wet) red clay road bed, finally got it back under control, and kept going. Only missed me by less than 3 feet. He turned back on the pavement and into the Barnett Bend entrance just up the road. It was hard not to follow him and share my thoughts with him. Y'all be careful out there...

It was just over 2 years ago that I survived getting rear ended on the KLR on Old Fannin by the Honda below...

I got rear ended a few weeks ago... Luckily I was in my truck because she was doing about 60 mph and never touched the brake...

I had removed the old bumper getting ready to put my roll pan on. Now I need a new bed

Made it about halfway into my workplaces parking lot and she slammed into me.

Backwoods when i saw the pic on your post i was thinking, how the crap can he get rear ended by the same car twice. Glad the guy missed you. And it's not just bikes, My middle girl almost got creamed by a loaded dump truck 2 weeks ago. he took it off the road and rolled it to keep from hitting her. Same thing as you, she had to stop to let cars come by to turn into our road.
