Looking for info from someone local that owns a 990 adventure. I'm trying to find the best map for a stock setup with tune ecu. The gazillion page thread for tune ecu doesn't seem to have one single person that can or will respond to my question. I am trying to find the best map to smooth out the abruptness of on/off throttle....anyone?

Hmmm... Tigers and KLR's don't seem to have that abruptness problem, says Jeffrides!

That's because they have the hp of your common mopeds. There is nothing abrupt about a KLR. Not acceleration , braking, leaning, etc. you get the point

Supahflid has used TuneECU. He may be able to give you some insight.

I didn't realize I did anything that required hiding the photo from her. Thanks for setting me straight.

I have the 2009-2010 Power-Tripp Akra Map. I'm not sure that I can answer which is the best setup for your bike. When I was looking for a map, I had a hard time getting answers too and was told to just look through the thread. I did get a guy or two to kind of answer, but mostly, I was on my own.

You are more than welcome to use my ECU cable. Just let me know.

Yeah, my wife would be way more than cool with that if that were me in the pic and not DQ. She's just hoping I find another woman so she doesn't have to put up with my shit anymore.

Izzat Twin Peaks?

Hey mschviuz

I've been doing a little digging on "Got Tunes"; read post #1605:

http://advrider.com/forums/showthrea...33558&page=107

I realize it's an EU bike, but, I though the discussion about turning off sensors was good info. I'll keep looking as I have time.
