Black primer... It's like the duct tape of paint jobs the only problem is that they painted the frame a weird dark two tone style blue and I don't wanna strip it to the frame, but I might have to

Duct tape... now that an answer. You can pick any color or even camo pattern and fix it right up.

I've been approved for a lone through Honda but found out I can get one a 3.2% somewhere else. here's the deal I want to sale the little NX for part of a down payment. but that may take a wile. right now there is a 2013 sitting on the floor at Brookhaven. has a really good price on it to make room for the 2014s. the 14's are a few hundred more. money that could be put toward accessories I'm going to get anyway but some I may just not get if I hit my peak of funds.

now here's the thing. I'm getting a nice chunk of my taxes back. I have a few things I have to fix or buy but that's going to leave a nice size chunk of cash still. I was planning to pay some of a long term bill down with some of that and stick the rest back. first year I have been able to do that since Liz got sick and I found out how much money she had spent behind my back and had in debt. anyway I could take some of that money and make the down payment on the bike and then put the money from the NX toward the other bill.

this could get me the 2013 like I want for a cheaper price and get more farkels on it out the door. this is what I'm thinking about doing because it would give me time to get the plastic repainted on the NX and have it ready to sale for spring and maybe make a little off it instead of just getting my money back.

So what would y'all do?
I would scrap the Honda idea and buy the 2009 Versys in Jackson!

Versys are great bikes but it's just not what I want. I have looked at them in the bast and sat on them and it just didn't fit me. Now my friend in Brandon would fit it well. He also likes the Honda but is worried it's to small for him. PM me the info on it and I will pass it on to him. he's also in the market for a adventure bike to off set that monster Victory touring bike he has.

My problem with a Versys is the seating position. The FZ is the first bike I've been on other then a dirt bike that doesn't cause my lower back to hurt. they removed a lot of the disk in the lowest joint in me back and it really screwed me on being comfy on a bike for long. I road that big Victory for 2 miles and it was starting to cause pain. and it's like ridding a sofa down the road. but the CB500X has the exact seating position as the FZ. the angles are almost exact.

and besides Ive had a shit last 4 years busting my ass to keep things together at home, and keep 3 young ladies on track with life all wile putting anything I want on hold. and with everyone's blessing I am getting a new bike. all my friends and Fam have told me I deserve it after everything I have dealt with. but do sent me the info on your bike so i can pass it on to him. because once I get this one he's going to be wanting something as well.

FYI - passed entrance to Barber and saw a sign that a new BMW / Triumph dealership was being built next to the Hampton Inn...

It kind of looks like a Vincent van Gogh inspired paint job.

Well it's a Honda so there should be some red on it somewhere.
