But you have to admit, the hand of God shoving you forward is a bit intoxicating, no? Only two bikes have given me that sensation; Wolfy's K-bike and a worked on ZX-10. Fun stuff for sure.

It is..... exhilarating to say the least. Granted, I have only ridden a handful of sport bikes. I do miss the room and comfort of the GS from time to time. A day long trip is much more inviting on the big ole german gal, though it is doable on the sporty gal..... She might just put ya up a little more tired......

It was sad when I had to turn her back over to the owner---I was just getting "right"

I was bouncing like a kid in the candy store

exciting when the wind picks the front of your torso up and you get to cranking on it

did not get her all the way wound out but was above 130

170 mph at Nola on the front straight true speed not the lie o meter guage. That's with tight gearing so there's more there but running taller gearing there will screw you up elsewhere around there.

Another fast track is Road Atlanta and I will be racing there at cycle jam June 6-8. Back straight there is about 200' longer than Nola. I will run the same gearing as Nola and maybe float it in the rev limiter right before the braking zone at T10b.

Barber not so fast up top. 150 maybe. Talladega 135s pushing it.

I-55 wouldn't know don't do that shit anymore. Another member here could tell you more about that.

I will say this though there is not a whole lot of difference between 125 and 170 they both feel about the same.

I can't comment on 170, and I really probably shouldn't comment on 150. I've only been there a few times myself, but it all feels fast to me

you know Roy I have noticed that my self over the years. some where around 120 and up it just feels fast. At lest to 150. I've only been over 150 once and that was in my car. if my math was correct figuring RPM to MPH it topped out around 160 in the hills. the math was farly solid as I checked it at every 10mph from 50 up to 130, I was taping the red line in over drive that night... damn I was stupid.

My old CBR600 used to take me north of 130, only a few times, but the thing I remember was how the wind pressure felt, even tucked.

Zero to 60 in 2.8 seconds feels fast. That's what the BKing would do ;)

local inmates at SLAP

I see some locals signed up for slap. Marcus and I are heading up Thursday and bringing dirt and street bikes to play with. I've read the weather looks to cooperate and should be quite a gathering with around 130 signed up so far.

Backwoods and DQ always have some good routes through the mountains and we are looking foward to following yall around some more.
