Getting in touch with CJ's pal here from Microsoft. Picking up some books and such later, will post pics.

I was hoping to get some dirt riding in, but time has become short lately. Besides my full time job, I work 3 part timers... Concord Speedway on Friday evenings (some Sunday rain dates), USAC Focus Midgets Series once a month, and the Richard Petty Driving Experience 1-3 days a month - all money saved for the trip. Mrs.SgtMike has been traveling lately as well, someone has to feed the kids .

Looking forward to meeting many of you to tell this tale someday , thanks to all.

Wicked Quick bump note... T -1 day!

Final prep is underway. Going through the bags tonight, stuffing gear, clothes, cameras, books, sorting it all out. Carry on will include electronics and Helmet - pray they don't lose my bag, it's only one connection!

Game time, Green flag, Go for Launch!!!! Going to Charlotte Douglas International Airport tomorrow, flight leaves at 3!!!

All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go...

I'm leavin', on a jet plane. (I know when) I'll be back again...

You wouldn't believe how much stuff is in these bags. I think I'm under 50 lbs, Continental allows 2 checked bags, with my carry on - I gots alot o'crap!
