I don't have a list of what people are bringing just yet. Bring yourself (at a minimum). PM me if you don't have my address.

Damn! Mike, Ix-nay on the ix-fay. You were supposed to tell him it was terminal, and it would be in his best interest to pay Kwisn $50 bucks and drop it off at the Griffondrosa.

Really, though, I knew he'd be able to "make your day". Goodonya, Mate!

I think someone else other than Beelzabob needs to buy the burgers and buns, the last time he didn't show up to Simon's place until after everyone had chowed down (your burgers were great BTW).

I'll be there at 1100, perhaps MasterChief will come.

It is a secret ORV area that is known to only a few people. It is set in the dark reaches of territory East of Lake Stevens. GPS cant get you there, it is not on any maps. SS found it after searching for weeks.

There are three entrances and I can only find one
I hear there is lots of single track.

It is a legal ORV area btw.

I think there are some tracks in another thread called machias orv area or something like that.

Yah, I didn't want to be stepping on someones secret spots.

Is it KLR friendly? I don't like the "tip it over and die" type of trails.

Its only secret because its so damn hard to find. Ive not ridden on the single track there but, based on others experiences the smaller or more dirt oriented the better.
the main trails/roads in there are all gravel and not a problem.

The Bike Guns Should Have Bought....

Just so that I have something I don't have to truck out to Machias, I've been recommisioning the XR650L Trail Whale for the last couple of weeks of spare time.

To give you an idea of how long it sat unridden, the tabs are from 2006 and the gasoline in the float bowl and petcock was well on it's way to becoming dinosaurs once again. Well, I have the fuel system all spic-and-span and the "race" jetting installed. It's running great. I mounted a set of Pro-Tapers with my favoured bend (I think the awkward elbows-down stock bars might be why I never really felt comfortable on that thing) I have a fresh tire on the back and a few other things.

Before I can take it off road, I need to install the handguards (had to buy new ones to be compatible with the Pro-Tapers, swap the front tire and find a 2010 license tab .

Maybe..... I'll be ready for a shake down ride Sunday afternoon. Be on the lookout for me. XR650L with a StupidTrapp muffler and a big fat guy wearing spandex.

(I also ordered an FMF Q muffler for it. The StupidTrapp EAR was always too fargin loud for me too.)
