best thing that has ever happened to me on a bike happened yesterday...

as i was driving home from work at about 9pm on regent, a young guy in a rusty old POS suv pulled up to me and yelled something. i couldn't hear so i put up the shield on my helmet, so he yelled again; That thing come with a tampon?
so clearly the only response was to yell back; no, only your moms phone number. i then downshifted and gunned it, but immediately pulled in the clutch, he took off like a bat out of hell just flying down the road. guess i had better eyes than him as before he was yelling at me i saw the speed trap just down the road, clearly he didn't. flashing lights came on in front of me to pull him over, probably got a HUGE ticket as he was going at least 80-85 in a 60.

laughed for a good while at that one.

now i ride a sport bike, but i would like to think i ride responsibly, don't do any stunting or racing (outside of the track) always wear proper gear ect. but even so i know people who ride sports bikes get a lot of flack. It just boggles my mind how many people want to race me. it's very anoying, any young punk with a car wants to take me on, and every time i just have to giggle, its like a a guy in a civic taking on an F1 car... its just nice to know every once and a while karma catches up with a** holes.

You could switch to a KLR....no one wants to race me.

Thou I think after I do the garbuator exhaust mod on Saturday I'll have an extra 30-40 HP at the wheel so things might change.

sorry but after one day at the track, im hooked on sport bikes.
i honestly think everyone on a sport should be forced to do one track day. once you learn what you can do on the track, you loose all interest in riding "hard" on the street as it comes no where near what you feel on the track.

..... stupid winter making Winnipeg stupid, maybe ill just buy a ton of lottery tickets so i can get rich and buy a house in phoenix for the winter, or just move there so i don't have to pay out the arse for insurance... then i could ride on the track all year!

Perhaps the Cabot Trail area? (though I don't recognize the lookout...).
