I have no particular place in mind, and I agree that downtown would be a good choice...I like Indian, Mexican, Carribean Canadian...hell, I just enjoy food - although i do try to make healthy choices...There are a lot of restaurents in walking distance of both of our homes, so...name a place that works for you...and I will meander my way there...

I, for one, do not believe we are going to get the weather they are forecasting - the folks at Environment Canada are only right about 10% of the time, and I am hoping it won't be this time...I went out to St. Andrews and took a gander at DCMD's parking lot, and it would be a treacherous ride out to the gravel road, but I think I can persuade the guys to help me get the Burgie to the gravel road at the top of the lot, and then I will be able to ride it into the city without a problem (as long as we don't get the 30 cms they were talking about on the radio this afternoon).

I am just so ready to ride...like everyone else, I know...Got that new jacket, plenty of warm gear, and lots of ya-yas to work out while riding...It has been a difficult 3 months for my northern community - and therefore for me as well...I NEED TO RIDE...

I'm hoping to be able to put the snowblower away soon - I was REALLY hoping to not have to use it again this season!

Thanks Ron but I have one at home as well. Problem is I won't have a job waiting for my if I don't make it back by the tenth so I decided to grit my teeth and push on. The Wapusk trail defies description. In 300,000 plus km logged on motorcycles, this is hands down the hardest, most thrilling thing I've ever done.

Nearly bought it a dozen times over but here I am in Fort Severn. Going out onto the sea ice tomorrow. Hope my frozen cornea heals in time for the ride back.
