Right on Flo !!!!

Went for a ride to Wiinipeg Honda this pm with BR. Realy impressed with some of the new models. The 500's and the CR250L stand out. But where the heck is the NC700? Pretty curious. Test rides coming up.

The KLR is my first bike and has been very forgiving of the mistakes I've made. I can't believe this'll be my fifth year, he looks a little grubby now but hasn't let me down yet.

As for riding offroad, I did some trail riding with a buddy a couple of years ago. We swapped bikes for a couple of minutes and he took off on the KLR (he used to race and is several orders of magnitude better at riding than I am). His WR450 was easier to control in the deep sand. When we switched back, I asked him what he thought of the KLR. The conversation went like this:
Him: "It rides like a Cadillac!"
Me: "Is that good?"
Him: "No."

That aside, I didn't mind the KLR off-road - I think any difficulties are more a reflection of my own inadequacies than the bike. It is, however, a nightmare in dirt when it's loaded up with luggage and a full tank of gas...

If I could change one thing about the KLR, it would be to give it another 20-30HP. The poor thing has to work really hard to haul my fat butt around sometimes.

The Wee is a very nice bike!

That's it! It is now officially the seasonal change.

All bikes are out of storage and in the garage. BMWs fired up like they were put away yesterday. Wife's KLR took a few cranks to get going put purrs like a kitten

Put all my snow shovels, snowblower and snowmobile away. Think I put about 500 ft on the sled this winter.

Hey everyone

Went for a ride today on the Wee. It was great. I have been riding for about a month already but I can honestly say today was my first comfortable ride lol. Good riding all

Great Job on the Tech Day Mel..
Thanks

Also for anyone interested, our friend Gerald O'Neil, will be hosting Two Wheel Thursdays at Winnipeg Sport and Leisure on Thursdays.
The first one is May 02. They are located just east of the Dugald Rd overpass on the south side of the street.

Tech "Day"...

Rode home from tech "Day" this evening...
Didn't understand why folks on the south side of the street(s) were looking at me, every time I stopped at a stoplight.

Got downtown, parked the bike a block from home, as always..
Started walking the last block, only this time, people on the sidewalk are looking at me funny.

Get into the apartment and pull off the riding gear...
...to find the 900 lumen flashlight I'd stuffed into my pants pocket was illuminated...

I had a glow on...
Cheers, Brian
