I think I saw Darrel and Mark on my way back, they must be heading to the regular spot for coffee
Jing, myself and Mark headed south along the river, me in trail as Mark was playing with his new hot rod (V-Strom)... seriously fast bikes for being only a 650! Did you see us on Pembina?

Haven't been out for a ride today yet - still trying to shake this damned cold! Did finally fix my RH turn signal issue -the front RH turn signal stalk had corroded contacts (internally)... changed it out. Old bike issues... always in need of tinkering.

Sorry I missed you...The ride to Elm Creek (via Carman) and back (via Fannystelle and Eli) was lovely, but it was a vigourous workout with the winds out that way, and Carl, Deb and I ended up just having a chin-wag at Ma's before heading off in different directions (well, Carl and Deb went in the same direction, on the same bike)...I headed back towards Winnipeg...conserving the energy to deal with the quartering wind I knew I would be encountering en route...

Thanks for meeting up with me, Deb and CArl...It was good to see you...

Sorry I didn't get to the Tech Day, would've been great to see the crew again!

Was helping a neighbour take out his pool on Saturday, then spent most of today lying on the couch wondering why I foolishly volunteered to help...

But I finally got up and christened the Versys today. Man, what a different ride than the KLR! Very agile. Suspension a little stiff, though - almost coughed up a vertebra or two when I hit some railway tracks. It was a short ride, but I was impressed. Might have to do a run to Brandon this coming weekend. You know, just to see how it does on the highway.

Now, a couple of Advil and back to the couch...

I saw a sidecar followed by a GS on Roblin/perimeter bridge. The side car looked different, but with the GS behind, I thought it must be your and Mark. Sounds like I was wrong, but it's good to see so many bikes out.

Beautiful riding this morning. Rainy on the way home, though.

-1 tomorrow? Argh...

Went up to Minaki with a buddy on his new Fat Boy Low. Pretty neat motorcycle, but I'm not tempted. The DR stayed right with the big soft tail.

Cabela's is closing? I hear it's moving? Anybody know where? Always been a "destination" for me.

Heh... when I first saw your post, I thought you meant MEC, not IKEA. My first reaction was "Wonderful. 70000 square feet and no parking".

It's one of those... Meet at the Leg, ride around to the dealers, get the stamp and wind up on a bar at the end of the day?
I went years ago with Bent Forks and JimToe and others .
Not sure what's changed over the years, but a good way to kill a Saturday.
Lots of fun watching the Pirates!!!!

I hate my new riding jacket.

I hate my new riding jacket.
I now remember why I got a new NEW jacket 3 seasons ago and put this one to bed.
VELCRO!!!
This is the second day I put this OLD jacket back on and it sucks.
Great jacket in most regards, but...
Every time I put my head down or look left or right, I'm stuck.
I can't get my head up..., left, or right..., again.
Shoulder check? Forget it...
Whoever designed this jacket didn't have a beard.

For sale, nice XL jacket, unless you have a beard...

Edit: Hair, red, strands, included with jacket.
