It's not like a GS with side cases and ME on top is a hard thing to notice.

Just a reminder to always drive defensively, no matter what mode of transportation.
Livestock trucks! Amen to that! I was leaving I%$ on a ramp into the outskirts of Chicago on my BSA, back in the Jurassic, behind a truck full of cattle. Cattle poop slid out of the truck in the turn, and down I went in a long graceful slide in cow shit! Not a fun moment in my day. No real damage though.....just shitty!

Anyone get caught in those storms last night? I was sweating a bit looking at those clouds but got home just before the rain started. No hail at my place, but some people from work got quarter and loonie sized hail...

I took Mark96 for a spin in the Gold Wing sidecar rig yesterday afternoon... got caught in a downburst with hail - took shelter under a big tree until it blew over. Other than that, what a great afternoon for a ride. Let Mark drive a bit - nice to get chauffeured around... neat feeling whizzing along in the sidecar.

Got hail downtown but not bad enough to damage the cars. Was there and then gone in no time. Sadly I can't ride, did the .22 cent mod and cleaned the whole carb, now I can't make it run properly, thinking I need to reject now, fuel air mix is all wrong and wants to stall out as soon as I touch the throttle.

That air line is pinched. The same line the t mod goes on.

Shouldn't have to mess with the jetting (I didn't). Make it run first, otherwise you are mixing variables and rapidly heading for the weeds.

I'll pull the line again and see if that's it but I was pretty certain that I made sure it didn't have kinks, the air line is the pink/clear one right. ( last week I knew nothing about carbs so I'm still learning everything)

Just been a combination of sick and busy, been a crazy few months, bought a house that I get in August, thinking I'm going to be hosting a tech day, the house has a workshop and garage both. On top of that I'm also getting married now.

You're leaking, but not from the pink vent hose.
Use some Vaseline or the like to ensure the diaphragm stays in place when you put the cap back on the top of the of the carb. Common oopsie when re-assembling the KLR carb.
Good to see you back on the forum.
