Actually, my plan was to ride through the Whiteshell en route to Kenora for lunch, but as I will not be attending, I guess it can go any way you, Mel, and any others choose to ride...

Have a great one...I hope to be riding by the beginning of May...

that's actually hilarious to me. It's a very common brain-get-stuck thing, trying to remember the name of that town called Kenora. I keep thinking "it's just on the other side of the border. Starts with an F." sometimes I resolve to Kenora, often not.

Anyone have a map so we can pick a route when we meet?

Ah, to be young and foolish... Aside from the rain, snow and generally cold weather, the thrill of the first run of the season burns strong within.
I think I will pass and wait for the ride report.

Remember, the Pifflemaster demands photos, or it did not happen!

Enjoy the ride!

Yeah the forecast is fluctuating wildly. We'll have to see closer to it.

Never posted in this thread before but I read it all the time. I saw this, and immediately thought that's really too bad... I didn't know Rowan personally, but I used to talk to him all the time all summer long at Hortons on Main, he'd ride in on his cafe style Enfield, and we'd always chat. Really too bad.

I had no idea either, really liked talking to the guy. Sad to see him to go.

Rowan

Rowan is my nephew on my wife's side. His mother is my wife's sister. He is our oldest nephew. He was a good person and a hell of a rider! What he could do with that sidecar attached was unreal. I rode he's bike to his parents last house last week and I'm still pulling my underwear out of my ass. Right hand turns are a freak!
Rowan rode many miles on all of his bikes and he met many cool people along the way.
I speak for my family when I say that we are greatful for the kind and numerous stories about how people met and rode with Rowan.

Please, the next time you ride be safe, but crank some throttle for Rowan.

Doug
