Engines don't sound good because of mufflers - they sound good despite them

I can't go for a ride now, might get hit by lightning.
Oh yes, the Doo was Done! There are pictures to prove it from Backroaders garage...ignore the beer cans in the back ground, it did get done! New Spring too!

Crazy out there yesterday and today... I don't think I've ever seen the weather change that fast that many times in a single day.

So I found out on Thursday I will have to do the MPI dance on my Super Tenere. Estimate is up to $11,000! Damn, I really was hoping it would come back to me...

Is that 11k in damage or that's what MPI wants to pay for it?

That's apparently the damage the shop has estimated it to be at.

That's a lot of damage.
I'd want a new bike if it was that bad.

...well, I was up to 3 KLRs. PITA flipping insurance. Not to knock anyone's choice of motorcycles, but you can sure find good deals on KLRs, and then farkle 'em up to your hearts content for much less than many other bikes. I saw a low mileage '08 FS recently for $3200 OBO! ...this one: http://www.kijiji.ca/v-dirt-bikes-mo...ationFlag=true
