This RR is making the wait for my own Trans-Lab trip nearly unbearable. Christ, I can't wait till August 28...

Got that covered. I did the Yukon, BC, and Alaska last summer (mid june to mid july). Only thing I didn't bring that I had to buy (in Dawson City, YT) was a knit cap to keep my head warm whilst sleeping .

CAN"T WAIT!!

Bye-Bye Baie Comeau!!

Took the ferry across the St Lawrence - We got a late departure and the water was quite rough. (IMO - for a vessel this large) These ferries really need to add wifi to their mix, it would be better than watching french lanquage stand up comedy on TV for two hours. (my french is good enough to get a meal + a room, but stand up comedy is a little fast paced for my comprehension......)

With the change of plans regarding my Goose Bay ferry, I've decided to play around on the Gaspe, since I have 4-5 days before I ought to return to mundane, normal life, instead of this superhuman adventure riding stuff.

I'm probably going to have some wet weather again tomorrow, but I'm headed for the Chic-Choc mountains, and the rte 299 anyhoo.

More pics + story tomorrow I hope.

Got a fleabag motel for only $65 w/free high speed, but it comes with a cord! hehe...... All my riding gear is soaked from this morning, even my boots, which is no fun. It looks like the laundry bomb went off in here......

Hey dude-man! How you doing these days?

Canada is my playground, dontcha know, I love it up here! The new machine is treating me right, that's for sure. Now, if I could just change my life to get every 3rd week off to ride the m/c.......

Yeah, right.

No tours for me this time, I toured the James Bay facilities w/Junkyard in 2005, Robert Bourassa + LaGrande 1, hard to top that, I'm guessing. Having to double back + ride the trans lab twice burned up a few days on this trip. Now I have surplus time to ride some dirt here on the Gaspe.

Besides, the Vt boys might need a tour guide up there come August.......

On the plus side, you'll be able to rely on the ferry schedules then, I bet.

Summer in VT is only a couple of weeks long anyways, it'll be here + gone before you know it. What bike are planning on taking Mark? XRL or Wee?

Thanks for the props Q - I took at least 20 pictures in that spot to ensure I would get a couple that were decent. It's so massive + the compound arches are just gorgeous. Concrete really can be beautiful.

Sorry you're still getting snow but it sounds like a great adventure. Be safe.

It is, but without the distinctive wing tanks.
