Two Wheeled Blues Cruise
My wifes family scheduled a family reunion here in Georgia, because (this is the story I originally heard) her second cousin is driving through from New York on his way to Florida, riding motorcycles with a group of buddies. Wait a minute, I didn't know Jamie rode motorcycles. I was thinking to myself - Probably a group of guys on Harley's or big cruisers of some sort. I'll give him a call and see if he wants me to show them around North Georgia the day before the reunion.
We'll I reached him via cell. This is the real story. For the past several weeks he's been traveling all over the US, alone, on his BMW GS, following Blues festivals, little blues dives and awards shows. He's even got a blog. Cool! - an adventure rider right in my wife's family and I didn't event know it. W'ell he didn't seem to know too much about this site, so I asked him if it was ok to post his blog here. Maybe he will come join us at Advrider. Here is the blog of his journey so far. If you don't mind, let him know what you think on here and I'll point him here to the thread: Jamie's Trip Blog: http://twowheeledblues.blogspot.com/ My wife's family reunion is going to be much more interesting this year!! |
