Aussie long weekend ride, cut short.
A mate & myself went away for the long weekend, but the trip got cut short.
![]() Camped here the night... ![]() nice views.... ![]() ![]() ...but the dirt road on the way in turned into a f#*k'n ice rink on the way out after overnight rain. Made it most of the way out except for one patch of clay. (Got the slow speed spill on video helmet cam but I'll post that later.) ![]() ![]() I have a hematoma the right knee (google it) where the handlebars hit me. I know the left one looks crook but that f#*k up is thirty years old. (Triumph Bonneville) ![]() It's turning a nice shade of purple today. Oh well, life is an ADVenture.

Ouch!
Ha! I had one of those a few years ago when I totalled my Yamaha in Polk County Tennesse
Most of the swelling went down within a couple of weeks, but to this day that knee looks a little different than my other one. Battle scars eh? Heal up, and let's see that video

Looks like a fun road... when it's dry. At least you guys have the right image and attitude. I love the music in the video's. Btw, you have 2 knees so it's no problem if you hurt 1...
Good luck! Bartjan

Next morning continued South towards Wollar but laid it down about 50km out of Mudgee. Rode to Mudgee Hospital & thats where I stayed for four hours until a mate came & picked the bike & myself up. Was really looking forward to that weekend, oh well, time to start planning the next trip
