After 2 years of Adventure Riding I am still amazed at what these bikes are capable of, and what great riders there are on this forum

Also... I wanted to say thanks to you for something..

I now pack Walking Shoes in my drybag when I go on extended rides, this is because of your post where you had to Walk when you left your aux switch on and killed your batt.

on my last ride I got 4 flat tires in 30 hours.. I thought I was going to need those shoes but I didn't.. Sure was glad to have them though.

hope to see you at the next adventure riders challenge.. We need more KTM's in the comp.. you live near by also..

Ah, but the laws of physics applies even to desert philosophers.

Unless, of course, you follow the Ghostbusters philosphy: "When someone asks you if you're a god, you say YES!"

The jeepers put those rocks there. I was simply returning the canyon to it's natural state.

I really prefer riding to walking, but sometimes, a little walking now can save you a lot of walking later.

It also gave me the chance to look for the best routes.

Looking at these photos now, I don't really see a route.

Not to the end yet and not seeing anything yet that I didn't want to ride, I passed a Mine Marker that had a name that was sending me mixed messages.

GETTING DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF THE BARREL. Is that a good thing or a not so good thing?

This one had a clean route. Third Gear Pinned.....not

So I finally came to the Canyon I was expecting to find.

I hadn't seen anything too bad so I was good to go! ...After I walk back up to get the scoot.

Once back at the bike I took a moment to do a lame attempt at a Darth Peach Tribute. Couldn't even get my legs properly crossed.

See the route?

I thought I might get in trouble cause you're not supposed to park up here without an Adventure Pass.

Funny it's called that...ADVENTURE PASS

Try this with crash bars.

So as soon as I made it out I was thinking about coming back. That was fun!

The rest of the ride was a bit more sedate but still fun. More exploring.

Old Structures

Mines I'd never seen

Cool trees

More Flowers... Bottlebrush I think

And a nasty little singletrack that didn't go anywhere.... yet.

Let's Ride!

I wondered if anyone would notice. Thought for sure Starchaser would.

I should send them this one (from a different ride) too. If he had run across the road a moment sooner I might have hit him!

Hopefully those plans wont fall though, there will be some insane pictures from that too.

Good stuff Brent! (you sure you don't want to take a good 'ol YZ 250 on the Rubicon?)

Actually, you will probably school those kids on light 2 smokes.
