Hey Pablo, still up in the air, if I go I'm trailering or truck. I'm a wuss on long seat time on the DR, plus I can't carry anything If you know what I mean!

if you hit submit to post it after you have been timed out (and you get the Doh! you're not logged in! message), all you have to do is log back in and it will post your message automatically. Happened to me several times while working on my Alaska RR. No problemo

I have a funny story about that........

I first met Brent at Joanne's Restaurant in Idyllwild one Saturday afternoon in 2007......he rode up to meet us for lunch........a few of us had ridden up there from Warner Springs on our 520/450 KTMs.......the little bikes.......we met Brent for lunch and I made the mistake of telling him, "Hey listen man, we've never ridden together but I wouldn't advise taking that big ADV bike on the single track we're headed too......it's your call brother, but I feel obligated to let you know it's pretty tight and you might not make it/enjoy it on that big bike so why don't you just take the fire road and meet us on the other end"

Brent’s comeback was classic.....he didn't say anything at first......he just walked over to my 520 and held his hands next to my handlebars measuring the width........then he held the distance constant and walked over to the bars on the 950.......his reply, "Looks like the same width to me.....let's go"

I followed him into the single track so I could help him lift his bike when he fell.....because I was sure he would.......he didn't........Brent handles that 950 as well, or better, than I can handle my 520!

Hey Chris, I remember that!

I went back there recently and found that trail head between the two piles of logs. But... Loggers have bulldozed the trail right at the start and I couldn't find where it started again. I did find some new stuff in the same general area though.







I passed on crossing this "bridge".



This trail is only doable during the Mountain Bike off season.





Didn't fit.
