MOTOGP Sachsenring - Spoilers
It was cool to see Nicky manage to pass Rossi and get the podium spot, but it certainly looks like the new exhaust (that only Barros had) improved the bike noticable. I think Barros was quoted as saying he had a better mid range but less top end with the new exhaust. Edwards was 5th, which was nice to see, too. 2 'mericans in the top 5!
Best of all for the title race, there are now three riders (Rossi, Biaggi and Gibernau) all close at the top of the points. Maybe next week Gibernau can manage not to throw it down the road and we'll have an even better race. Seems like Valentino fragged his tire trying to checkout in the middle of the race, and had nothing left when the Honda train came through. Good race, hope you saw it or taped it. JC

Yep, pretty good race. It'd seem that Biaggi had the magic Honder this weekend. The thing just lept off the last corner and down the main straight - lap after lap. But man, what a fine ride from Barros and Hayden after their early troubles.
Good news of the weekend is that Abe's relatively unhurt after taking flight at triple digits trying to avoid Melandri's tumble. That was amazing.
