Not Her Best Day I suppose...

But this Ol' Raider's not afraid of playin' where the pavement ain't great... which is good. 'cause all the roads aren't good! Especially... some of those up in the Yukon!

But... She does clean up pretty good...

Similar but different

Both easy to mod given the simple engine and electrics, but the DR has significant more aftermarket resources.

Obvious power differences but not really noticeable in the bottom but at top speed they are like chalk and cheese with the DR able to cries at the 110km.

The biggest difference is the ergonomics. I am 174cm and 90kgs and the DR is far more comfortable. The height and suspension keeps your back straighter knees lower and shoulders back.

I really enjoyed the XT it's light very monoverable and can go just about anywhere at a snails pace. I moved to the DR as I wanted to do longer adventure rides throughout Tasmania and needed the extra horse power.

I would be happy to recommend either.

that is some rugged looking terrain!

is that dead tree in the background just a random thing there? or are there other large trees nearby?
