Yeah, for some strange reason,Japan has a few,the guys on our Yahoo know how many. The Europeans got the gorgeous early model in red white and blue (French colours) the Italians got a silver and blue, very rare, and I have seen a black and silver one in Japan (not personaly!) I like mine in XR red.

What else did I forget? - air shock at rear,no spring... 2 hour seat..no brakes I have no problems with parts, but then my Honda dealer is rather special, has even owned one.

whats waitangi day ? can you tell us a bit about the bike ? which island are you on ?
Sorry sparks, didn't see you down the bottom there,we get that a lot in NZ.Waitangi day is the day we celebrate stealing land from the Maori leagaly, before that all they needed was a few blankets and axes.At one time an Aussie reckoned he owned the whole South Island, sold by some Maori chief who just waved his hand and said - all that.I am in Auckland, thats in the North Island, the only place you can earn a living leagaly.

Is that a 1100 with a 1150 beak? I remember hearing the mod was not really easy, but I gotta say your bike looks fantastic. Best of both worlds, for me. :1thumb

Any further info on how you did it?

Or maybe this is me..

and my Adventure R. Notice the broken mirror mounts. Not from a crash, but from the road vibration!

Mine again. Get strange looks when I show up for a DS ride towing it behind the Road King.

Beautiful indeed. I wonder if I could go the other way around (1100 screen & rectangular light on my 1150). That would be killer!
