Will be sad to see the DR go to a new home. I accepted a deposit today, and the new owner will take her away on Saturday.

From this (the day I bought it in '09):

To this (all modded up in 2011):

And now back in stock form, ready to sell:

My current ride, 07 Nightster, on a levee near Cairo, Il, last June.

Pretty sure I'm going to replace it soon, thinking Ulysses.

This is by far the nicest looking bike I've seen in a while! Looks so nice in all black. What year is it?

Thanks! It's a 2007. I did the work myself, but the design credit goes to Hammarhead's Jack Pine Scrambler. I saw his and thought it would work well for desert roads.

Ninja 500 & FZ6

Here is a snap of my FZ6 in Hamilton overlooking the Niagara Escarpment in the fall. We have some great back roads out here.

Just curious, didn't like it from an aesthetic point of view, or aren't a fan in a functional regard?

I personally don't think Scrambler front ends are designed for too much sand and desert gravel and I decided to remove the possibility of grabbing a handful of disc brake on an under sprung 450 lb bike in those conditions. All of my other dirt bikes have them and I use it but this one seems better off either not having it or mounting an older style drum brake that is a much softer application. BTW, this is just my preference. Not saying it is for everyone.
