Pro Taper Bars on DR650

Hey guys, I'm looking to get a set of Pro Taper bars for my '09 DR650. I have now bent my second set of OEM bars so it's time to move away from them. I am looking at these:

My question is, do I need the different mounts from Pro Taper or can I use my stock mounts?

pro taper se bars

No, not needed. These are 7/8" bars. I am quite sure the stock dr650 bars are 7/8"

I put a set of se's on my xr which is 7/8" too

SE actually stands for Seven Eighths

Perfect thank you for the info.

Didn't realize SE was 7/8's.

If you are going to get new bars, I would spend the extra $$ and get the oversize ones incl. the mounts. Much stronger over all and since you seem to be riding your bike off road it will be cheaper in the long run.

A friend of mine just mounted some Pro Taper Pastrana fat bars on her DR, and with the adapters, they are a direct fit.
