Great pics! I thought milk crates were reserved for KLR owners?

Went for an interesting "cruiser" ride. Met a friend on a Star Cruiser and he brought along a buddy on a VMAX and another on a VTX. So I invited a KTM and off we went. Their long ride consisted of Pearl / Brandon to Tommie's Trading Post on 43. Break and rest, and then return.

well i cleaned my shop after I got out from under my house this morning, then got my Raptor out and unleashed the mighty power of that beast. Holy Crap that thing is fun. then went and picked up a 05 Chevy Tahoe to clean up fix a electrical problem and flip for a quick buck. anyone looking for a nice ride. I know 90 % of the history on this one and it's been well taken care of.

After breakfast I decided to take a little ride. I left PBTP about 8:00am and headed for Louisiana.

I have a friend that owns Java Dough in Livingston, so I went there for some beignets and milk.

After that I just rode around a little, went to check on my mothers grave, went to visit an old friend from high school, took a stroll down memory lane, etc.

Then, it was time to start heading home.

I made my way through Franklinton.

Then decided to run up hwy 587 to Red Bluff. Yep, it's still there.

After that I cruised on home. Nothing spectacular, just a much needed 370 miles of helmet time.

Did you pass a bunch of Porsche drivers? A friend of mine is in the local Porsche group and they did a group drive to Red Bluff today.

Did a little riding this past Saturday. I didn't want to retype it all out, I suppose I could have copied and pasted but why not just click on a link instead?

n00b ride day!

I went for a ride today with two guys on cbr 250's and a guy on a Ninja 300. The guy with the Ninja had 600 miles under his belt and just got his license two weeks ago, while the other two had only been riding since around August. Considering they all had enough sense to get small bikes for their first, I felt ok going into the ride.

And sure enough, it was a blast! Folks behaved themselves for the most part. They never complained about the bumpy-ass back roads I led them down. One of the guys is already talking about trading his cbr for a dual-sport of some kind.

a CB500X would be a good step up from one of the CBRs if it's a newer one. the power of the 500 has the same fill there's just more of it. those little CBRs are fun little bikes.

I went to PBTP for breakfast then went on a little ride.

I zigzagged my way to Forest and met KW.

We left there and headed southeast.

It got a little muddy in spots.

This is like a personal invitation.

I'm not sure how much ground we covered but it was a good ride. I left PBTP about 8:30 and got home about 1:30. I found one pretty good trail, a couple of other potential trails that need to be explored, several good gravel and small country roads, and I pulled a red BMW out of the mud, twice.
