Yep, right there.

Here we are on the other side of Hesperia headed up to Big Bear. Notice the thunderstorm brewing on the left. The Hero camera doesn't have the resolution to pick up the lightning that was happening, but it was very cool.

TB: thx for sharing. I'm assuming you're OK. But that biff had me rolling. It looks like you're just rolling along and hit a "gravity storm" and went down. I'd be lying if i said nothing like that every happened to me.....

We start getting closer to Big Bear and we finally get some cloud cover and it cools off, not to mention the trees show up.

Note to self: Some trees are troublemakers and will hit you in the head while riding.

It's not the dust that gets you, unfortunately, it's the half-submerged rocks. It doesn't show up on the video, but there was a 12" X 8" protrusion that you hit right before you lost it. Cool video though, I wish I had a video of that time that I t-boned a car-Superman!!!

That it did. I have a little scrape and a cool little bruise pattern on my arm.

I figure if Nowhat can hit a bus wearing one of these and walk away without a scratch, I should be wearing one too. So far, it has more than paid for itself.

it was me on the DRZ, my son on the TW, & sospelotudo & his wife 2up on a big new KTM.......RAZR had talked to tbarstow & told him we'd wait, so we die, till 7:00....& then cuz RAZR just came out for the Friday night portion of the festivities & wanted to do Lynx, that's what we did.......

I had a little trouble at the last bit of Lynx

(I know RAZR has more pix)

that & my general slowness delayed us to the point that we arrived at Newcomb's too late for dinner, somewhat to the worriement of my daughter. who was waiting for us there. (Fortunately, she had ordered us some dinner, so we didn't have to go to bed hungry) Kids can't live with them and can't live without them

Most distressing, after i fell, I lost most of my rear braking so I did Pacifico in the dark with almost no brake........(WHO needs Brakes)

I need to hugely thank schlim66, & his friend, who happened to be at Newcomb's for repairing the fitting & replacing my brake fluid, so I could continueon the weekend's adventure
Doesn't it get dark late this time of year.

Kathy are you joining the full moon crowd and par-taking in the night life.
