I just happened to come across this guys Blog page. We met this bicyclist at the Angeles Oaks Country Store. Looks like his trip ended in an accident at 30mph and he is recovering from road rash and a shoulder injury.

i felt bad to hear his misfortune....what he already accomplished (carmel to sd to cen cal) i'm already impressed.

H8Chains, so you go right past our house (99 degree temp at USBank on Indian Hill and Foothill) we live at Indian Hill and Baseline, and don't stop for a beer or three?
We went dirt from our house to Big Bear last week. 108 miles to get there, 46 miles home by paved road!

Thanks for all the great trip reports, I know it takes a lot of effort .

james, who else will do the rr, all my riding buddies are either celebrities and want to be in front of the camera or just cheap bastards....

glad you enjoy the rr. will stop by your place next time.
