sat ride

before everyone could get up from their bed, the ranger is already doing his job.

rich's butt is getting poked

his name is glen and a very nice person. he chatted with us and showed us in the map the closures in the area so we don't wasted our time. he himself rides a motorcycle....

anysunday brought this sharp looking 2 smoker with a very nice trucker sticker on the side air deflector.....

riders gathering and waiting for the sleepy heads

the intermediate riders broke into 3 groups, 1) klammer's 2) wewanttoridenow and 3) we'renotreadyyet

klammer's group; hey rich, i heard from the guys you're a good ride leader...

the plan was for the 3 groups to meet here

the group started small

then grew bigger

At the end of Rincon how do you get back. Do you come back in dirt or on the street?

I think the other ride leaders JOEL need to step up to Rich's example JOEL I figure you owe me 100 beers and 3-400 Tacos by now JOEL.

Home Safe

What a great weekend!! It was great to meet everyone and ride with you this weekend. We had a fantastic time!! Thanks bunches to M1Jeep & H8Chains for organizing the weekend and to Dunerat for the carne asada!!

I might be one of the offenders of riding through camp a bit fast. After the awesome ride Rich took us on, I could have sworn I was Ricky Carmicheal. But alas no, will keep at it..............

I'm still dryin' out my boots from the river crossing. I didn't realize that my KTM was amphibious until Sat.

A few of my fav pics from the weekend:

First photo op on the Beach Ridge Trail

First stop at Blackrock Station

Klammer - Our fearless leader

First water crossing

More pics

CCer looks to be enjoyin' the ride on his WR250R which he offered to let me ride when my bike wouldn't start. Almost wish I had taken him up on it. Luckily Klammer helped to get my bike running again, I sware I kicked that thing like 80 times (okay maybe 8) with no results. Someone told me that KTM stands for Kick 'Til Monday......now I believe them!

Group shot at Granite Knob Meadow

Dude, nice wake!

+1 (aka my hubby, David)

The overlooks on our second day's ride were spectacular

You guys rock!! We look forward to riding with you again soon!
