I rode up to the top last year on a Ducati Hypermotard with street tires. Several ways up all dirt but not hard.

Sounds like The KTM 990 SMT or the KLR will work fine. I will leave the ZX14 at home

You know, I was pretty proud of myself for riding to the top. Not hard, but not a walk in the park.
When I got to the top there was a full dresser Harley with a rather large couple riding.

If you do not race to the top you will have time to dodge the pot holes. I got a little muddy

This same tag sat a couple years ago for weeks, I went after it, almost two days of riding, and got Bruced by two people just minutes ahead of me Great spot! There was construction going on at the parking area then.

Starting at US-33 in Riverton, CR-33/4 to FR-112 to FR-104 is all pavement. Nice smooth pavement. You can ride anything on two wheels right to the sign.

It might not stay there very long this time. I know somebody that might be in the area this week.

As goosecreek told me when the daylight faded away over a picknick table and a beer. "You don't need a GPS when you are following Wayne around these parts". "One time I was lost on a back road around here without a GPS, and I said where is Wayne when you need him?"
