Been backward most of my life!

In my feeble mind, I thought having the pointy end forward would make them more aerodynamic! I love the S3, too. I just need to find a way to make rear tires last longer on it! I'm eagerly awaiting the release of Triumph's 2 new adventure bikes later this year. From what I can find out, they'll have re-tuned versions of the Daytona 675 engine. I could be tempted to add one of them to the stable!

Try a good sport touring tire. My FJR is a tire eater, but the last set of Diablo Stradas have lasted well...

Just love the way those triples sound! Watching the adventure bike market as well...

Naw. Didn't kill it. I bet it'll be grabbed before long. It's in a good spot on a great road. I think most of our local taggers aren't thinking about this game since the NC tag is in the mountains too.

This is a well noted Ghost hang out, so maybe someone is waiting to give the Ghost Hitch Hiker a ride to the North Carolina border!

Maybe this explains why people were giving me funny looks as they drove by. Nah, it was probably just cause I look funny!

I know I've seen that sign! Hm.

Good job on moving that around.

Moody Spring ride

Had an appointment this morning at Touring Sport BMW in Greenville to get the fuel sensor replace in my tank ( warranty) soz I can tell about my gas cause you can't see much in there like the old bikes I used to ride and I was tired of carrying a dip stick

On the way back, I had a great ride once I got out of town. Going north on 276, I picked up 288 west near Marietta, then a connector with 178 to highway 11 ( Cherokee Foothills Parkway) and then ran that about 14 miles to 130 north. 130 is a fun little road and then I got on Wigington Road, fun again, which dumped me out on 107 about 5 or 6 miles above the spring box. After taking the photos, some guy wanted to ride with me so he did up to Cashiers where I let him off in town ( weird....he kept whispering in my ear " Aarrff...slow down!....not sure how he did that with my ear plugs in...anyway) so I was glad to let him off and I took 64 east to Silversteen Road to Macedonia Church to 215 and over the mountain to my place...it was a great ride coming back!
