Redwood Rendezvous III. Sept. 25-27, Rio Nido CA
Redwood Rendezvous III
Our third annual Fall Soiree on the River to benefit
Dakar-bound Dirk Kessler!
Our good friend Monte (TheGenius) is donating a limited release 18 year Sazerac for the auction block from his collection. This is a Kentucky Straight Rye Whisky produced in small batches and released in limited quanties once a year. This excellent vintage is no longer available in the US and is for sale in Europe starting at $135 USD.
Bike waffle. If you're interested in winning the super-cool Husaberg shown below and supporting a great cause, here's the deal: The bike will be waffled-off Saturday evening. Tickets will be $40 each.
Items on the silent auction block will be the notebook computer and case, case of Boheme wine and bottle of Sazerac Rye Whiskey.
The Motorcycle Shop of Santa Rosa will provide a bike lift for all of your bike wrenching needs. Also included will be 37 onlookers who will know exactly what the problem is and what you're doing wrong.
MX1 West and BMW of Santa Rosa once again have both generously donated schwag for the general (everyone gets a ticket) waffle.
Too close for missiles...switching to guns.
No checks accepted at this time.
Please register by credit card by calling the Roadhouse at 707.869.0821
Speakeasy Ales and Lagers of San Francisco is now on board, with a special batch of Dirkar Dark!
Dear God, it's close...can you feel it?
Our friend and road captain extraordinaire Vincent/vrago has donated a three bottle wooden case of Boheme wine for Dirk's rally effort. Retail value $200, to be shipped to the recipient (as long as they live in a reciprocal state) for convenience.
Alrighty, just a month to go!
If you're planning on joining us, please register soon as we need enough time to print the shirts and make sure we've got enough food for everyone. Sorry, but PayPal is out as a payment option (thank you anonymous douchebag), but we'll still take your info over the phone, as well as a payment by check. We can't really do the 'pay when you get here' thing anymore. Thanks again for making these events so amazing. Oh, and check the list on page 16 to see if you know someone on there who should be here.
J, B & A
Registration methods are now limited to credit card and check.
Please see below for details.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Andy Turkish has graciously put his '98 Husaberg FC600 in super motard trim on the block for our Dirk-ar fund raising efforts!
Bike will be on display beginning Friday, Sept. 25th and a waffle will be held Sat. evening to determine the winner! Price of tickets will be $40 each.
Feel free to PM me with any questions.
R-dubb, our super-generous resident gadget guy will be donating one of his company's brand new MINIMOUNT Netbook computer cases to help raise funds for Dirk!
And he didn't stop there...He's also throwing in a computer!
Register soon and plan on joining us! Let's do all we can to send Dirk to the Dakar in style!
And Thank You Rick!!
This year's Rendezvous is being held in honor of one of our very own!
Dirk's application to the Dakar 2010 has been accepted! He's been training and planning like a madman in preparation. Please come and show your support so we can send him off in a suitable ADVRider fashion!
All remaining funds after expenses are covered from this year's Rendezvous will be donated to Dirk's Rally efforts.

Still not sure? Here.
When: Sept 25-27, 2009
Please note: The actual start date is Saturday the 26th, but we've had so many people join us a day early that we've changed the dates to include Friday. For folks who'd like to get an early start on the weekend, camping the night of Friday the 25th is available and will be free of charge. However no meals will be provided that night or the following morning. The Roadhouse bar and restaurant will be open for 'business as usual' late and open early during this time to handle your needs. (Bloody's...stat!)
Camping in the redwoods. Great food. Great drinks. Phenomenal bunch of folks. Brad says, "what's the point of opening a restaurant if you can't share it with your friends?" Back away from the interwebs, turn off your phone and spend the weekend catching up with old friends or making new ones. Relax in your favorite camping chair with a beer in your hand and grass between your toes.
The next Rio Nido Roadhouse event is right around the corner. If you've never attended one before, here's what you can expect...
Redwood Rendezvous I.
Redwood Rendezvous II.
Mayday Melee I.

So, what are you goofballs up to?

If the drink tokens from the Spring get together will still work count me in if not...
Ah what the hell count me in eitherway
I can't freekin believe it thought I was gonna get things together an be able to make it, but my wife claims she's got too much work to do an won't be able to wash my bike before this weekend. Something about grading her students papers an stuff like that....
And I even got the first response to the post, I still can't believe I'll be missing this, well maybe I'll make the Spring one so if the bike's dirty ya won't be able ta tell in the monsoon rain.
I may get older but I refuse to grow up
