YOU DO NEED A LICENSE TO FISH. I'M NOT TOO GOOD WITH gps BUT I WILL TRY TO POST THE COORDINATES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE ( I guess i'm not too good with CAPS either)

THE CAMP IS AT 2121 GILBRIDE ROAD. it's very easy to get to. in fact there are 3 different ways to get there. as soon as i learn how i will post some sort of map

thanks

I think there is a 2 day conservation license available for Ontario. Sounds intriguing!

Edit; 8 days for $25.25.

Are you working Saturday Northrider? I'll be riding the Bandit in, and will stop at the Madhouse for lunch.

Also probably be there for some beer tomorrow night.

Karl or Leon, if one of you is going to this, I was planning on trailering a bike up...I could throw another bike on the trailer and you could ride with me. If it all works out. I could put the kayak on the roof.

Wouldn't be cheaper to ride the bike up? Should be just a 1 day ride right?

Everything involved here sounds really appealing.
I probably have to work those days, so I can't plan on anything right now....

I'm thinking it might be cold, and I'm itching to ride the DR350 with the knobbies, which would be a chore to ride all the way up there. Plus if I bring the van, I can sleep in the back and take the kitchen sink along.

Nice

I am really liking the sounds of this rally...Canadians, Americans, Beer , it is all starting to sound like an International Rally...someone should really alert the press and TV affiliates.

BackRoader and I should be there on Thursday night. Not sure where the first night is planned but assuming if NorthRider is at the camp, and has it up and running we will be there.

Notice my very early morning post...Dog had to take a shit at 4:30, so now I am wide awake and making plans for the big ride!

it looks like this might happen

i will be at the camp at 6pm on Thursday. i work 'til 5 and will be heading out there right after work. everyone is welcome to come that night. i will be there getting ready for the weekend ( doing some food prep) i like to drink when i prep so if you have some skills in the kitchen and like to drink a few while you do some light kitchen work please join me. BACKROADER and I took a little ride out there on Tuesday ( got rained on). it was a good little ride we now have gps coordinates and I'll post those as soon as i find the matchbook i wrote them on.

more stuff you will need

bathing suit ( swim trunks??)
if you come by car, bring a pillow
long underwear ( it can get cold up here)

Go for the full sports fisherman's licence that lets you catch 4 walleye. They are such good eating you'll want more. This pic taken this morning near Chapleau. Another walleye supper. Yum.
