it would be in the same style as the previous one. lot's of socializing and very little riding ( no one will stop you from going out riding all day every day, but it seems that most of us are happy just hanging out at camp. )
someone can organize the day rides.
I'll take care of everything else

I KNOW IT'S STILL EARLY TO BE THINKING ABOUT RIDING.
FOR NOW THIS IS JUST A SUGGESTION .

LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED AND ALSO WHICH WEEKEND WORKS BEST FOR YOU.
once we decide YES or NO , then I'll start a new thread ( or should we keep this one going?)

THANK YOU

north rider
Just as an FYI Horizons Unlimited are planning a big ADV meet/ride in Parry Sound Sept 12_15 looks like it should be a good time.

The spring rally is 4 weeks out. We still have a few feet of snow and a few feet of ice on the lake but it's melting fast the last 2 days. 20cm more snow forcasted tomorrow and friday and then hopefully thats it!!
The bikes are coming out soon!

2 weeks to the spring get together.
Snow is melting fast and the backroads are getting low on snow. Timing should be perfect for some spring riding.

Can you post some directions to your camp? I know where Hawk Lake is, but there are many cottages on the lake and I'd hate to show up at the wrong place yelling 'where are the sauna wenches?'.

No thread for the icebreaker. We've just been posting here.
Easy to find. Just drive to hawk junction. turn left after you cross the bridges at the end of the lake. Only about a km before hawk junction

How far to the Nofar?

Hey Finndian, my wife and I have booked a cabin at High Falls for Friday/Saturday night. How far from your cabin are we?

Hey Carl.

About as far as you can get in Wawa. 20km.

My neighbor has a cabin about a km away. They rent it out by the week though $500. I think it has A queen, two doubles and a fold out couch bed.
They also own the beaver motel in Wawa.

If your following a gps from Wawa to hawk junction don't let it lead you off the highway early. TnT proved his gps wanted to ride dirt most of the way last summer. Too bad he was in a car at the time. It's paved road all the way to hawk junction. Only about km of dirt to get into the camp.
