Bryce-Red Canyon rides

I am going to be camping around Bryce Canyon. I found the following ATV trails, would they be good KLR650 rides? Any other good rides in the area?

Fremont ATV Trail (ATV) - 50 miles

72-mile Paunsaugunt ATV Trail

East Fork ATV Trail (ATV) - 77 miles

Don't know those trails offhand.....

MAy need to double check the trail requirements- may of the southern UT atv trails do not allow 2 wheeler use . Specifically, the Paiute trails don't let us play, even plated bikes .

you mentioned Red canyon..the one near Hite?

Signal: Paiute trail closed to motorbikes? really? when did that happen? i've looked at some threads here about people riding those trails, albeit a couple years ago, they're closed now?

always looking for company down there...

There are some shorter single track/ATV sections that are incredibly scenic and moto legal just NW of Red Canyon in Casto Canyon that link up to other trail systems.

Map here.

I've not seen an ATV trail in Utah yet where 2-wheelers were not permitted (maybe something has changed in the last few months?) Looking at maps that I picked up in the last month for trails south of I-70, show that motorcycles are permitted anywhere the 4-wheelers are.
We ran into forest service employees as well as one FS law enforcement officer. Not any of them told us to leave. I've seen plenty of motorcycles on the Paiute.

Paunsaugunt and Fremont both had sections that I rode as recently as last summer. Motorbikes were permitted then.

Motorcycles are not illegal on the trails that ATV's are using. I think it falls under the "up to 50" wide" category. Unless your belly is >50" wide, you should be ok;)

Here are the regulations from Fish Lake National Forest.
