an answer from Pikeville TN and the Motorcycle Ranch. I told him between 90 and 110 peeps

I counted the BYOB 2009 attendee list real quick

but, I'll be damned if I saw 90 peeps in KY

Forget about KY attendance - I don't think it represents the number you are likely to wind up with. If memory serves we had about 150 in total at the Hocking Hills BYOB last year. I think I had the equivalent of this year's attendance on the dinner list alone last year.

That's the problem. You never really know how many are going to attend, so you are left with the choice of getting a place big enough to accommodate the upper end of expectations - which limits the number of available venues - or getting a smaller place and limiting attendance.

Agree. 100%

Economy or Location, not sure why we were down, but 125 to 150 is more likely with more road oriented location.

State Park is out of the question.

I think that place looks pretty cool, especially if we could book a weekend where we can snag all the rooms and tee pees. I personally don't mind going down to the TN, NC KY area as the roads are awesome and I don't get down as often as I would like.

On the other hand I will always make the attempt to attend no matter where it is.

Do you know that the Sunday we departed Harlan the high temperature up there was going to be 57? Candi and I considered going there because we've never been to the bridge, but when we saw the weather we headed south instead
