So a funny thing happened on the way to grab this tag:

Can you say faceplant? Sure ya can.

Second gear, ass over the rear fender and hard on the gas...caught that fuckin rut and WHAM! Quicker than you can say "what the hell you doin out there on street tires, boy?", I was on my face.

My left wrist hurts like hell, but I'm gonna self-medicate in a few minutes. It's okay...this ain't the first time I've ridden home with one wing in my lap.

Oh yeah...I couldn't pick it up...again. I have a new rule that says if you cannot pick up the motorcycle you own, you can't own it any longer.

Nitey night.

You went through that and didn't get the tag? Jesus, what a lame-ass.

Heh...I rode right past the tag, not much giving a shit by that point.

Just got back home from the hospital: Chipped Triquetrum bone in the wrist. I have a removable cast and some Class A meds...I'm just hunky!

Glad to see you're (more or less) OK.

Chucky, you're too old to let your enthusiasm get the best of you. "What the fuck, Charlie" are you doing out there with street tires?

Take care and get well soon.

Aaawww jeez Lousie!!!!! That sucks! I've recently figured out the only advantage of owning a GS over the 950..... when it's on it side the BMW is usually still not flat on its side. Makes it easier to pick up.

Take care.

George
I came out that way. I made it so you should have no problems.

Most of it was fine up there. Lots of the roads are freshly stoned (kinda like me right now come to think of it...) and loose, but no real mud to speak of.

Anybody else will have no trouble.

gravity

Took pictures before or after trying to pick her up?

I find that the initial burst of adrenaline is a real asset.

Sorry bout gravity, sounds like you shook it off.
