New Tag - Off Rt 97

South of Narrowsburg off Rt 97

Coordinates:
Decimal Degrees (WGS84)
Latitude Longitude
41.594717 -75.016167

Degrees, Minutes & Seconds
Latitude Longitude
N41 35 40 W75 00 58

GPS
Latitude Longitude
N 41 35.683 W 75 00.970

Google Map road names are different from present names of roads.

The Highway Superintendent of Narrowsburg - Tusten does a fine
job grading these roads. Riders with minimal dirt experience can
build confidence riding the unpaved roads in this area.

The Tag is close to where Rt 52 comes down from Monticello.

After I picked up the TAG, I was riding around and I ran into STBOB. He had just set the Empire State TAG http://www.advrider.com/forums/showp...postcount=2949

New Dirt Tag should be up tomorrow.

Just inside New York State.
However, it would have been stuck there for a long time.

I was looking at several similar locations. That spot is not really a road, it's more of a gas line right of way, access is shaky and might make for an unpleasant tagging experience, although it is a very interesting area. Only access is from Jersey!

Well done Sir!

Jc, nice job. Sterling Forest is a beautiful area for riding, although Blue Lake road is way to short. Some real nice hiking in that area with direct access into Ringwood State Forest (NJ).
