Take a look on my smugmug-site and ya can see all the mods I've done to my Tenere.
Mods so far:
-Hyperpro progressive springs front&back;
-Leovince SBK exhaust:
-handlebar-risers(30mm, MDI);
-Hepco&Becker pannier rack and Alu Standard panniers;
-Touratech tankbag, small luggagerack&Endurobag, handguards&spoilers,
wider and ribbed footpegs, sidestand enlargener, 12v plug-in;
-Yamaha alu bashplate, centre stand, headlight protection;
-moto-x tubevalve protectors;
-oiltemperature gauge Kedo(RR10);

More mods to come, probably iron braided brake lines and customized saddle.

hej Nick, nice pictures! Would be very interesting to here how good these homemade things work. Specially the wind protection under the lights, does it make a difference ? Me I have the orig. yamaha handguards and I find them to be a bit small ( windprot. otherwise good and sturdy), so I´ll probably do something like you´ve done. Are the PIIA extra lights good?
Zoltar, maybe a bit late now, but have a look on xt660.com-lots of pictures/Mats
