I'm guessing lowsided since the rear tire looks shagged. But could be just sat for awhile, or almost anything. It is probably 8-10 years old either way.

You FF's!! 2 blue/black Nighthawk S's on here. That's the bike, (you know, everyone has "THAT" bike) that just takes me back. That reminds me of the days before family, responsibility, before becoming a productive member of society. Remember the days you you got hammered before going to the bar because it was cheaper? The Nighthawk S. That's the bike. I've always wanted one from the day they came out. Now, thanks to YOU FF'S I will have to go find one some where.

Dicks.

2005 Ninja 250

Bought for the Mrs in june 07 for 1450 from the dealer that we have bought 10+ bikes/atv's from over the years. Wife put 2500 miles on it and we sold it this month for 1600 when we bought her the Monster. Put new on some new shoes, added a double bubble windscreen and swapped brake and clutch levers out for adjustable ones.

Hey look on the bright side... you know you can find one cheap now.

"before becoming a productive member of society" I resemble that comment.

It's over $1500, but for few hundreds more I bought myself this:

98 carb model, less than 16k mi. replaced R/R for $85, runs like a champ.. I'll see how long I keep my license on this thing.

They're kinda hard to find, too. Only 1 on eBay. Too far away for me to get excited about. I did find a 1979 CX500 on Craigslist. 17k miles, fairing, backrest, rack all for seven fiddy. I wonder if he'll take 500......

edited cuz I'm a dumbass....

Buy it, I'll pick it up and hold it in my garage for you until you can come pick it up.

Laugh

84 Honda VF500F I bought from someone I know for $500.

http://picasaweb.google.com/serjohn/motorbike .
Sorry I can't put a pic up since the file size is too large even though i used the smallest file size on my dslr. If anyone can downsize one on there to fit it feel free.

Anyways just before he had stored it for a couple years he went through it for his wife to ride.

Things done to it: new tires, new brake pads, new chain and sprockets and valves checked.

When we tried to get it going we bodged the carbs up trying to get it running and would up having them rebuilt, cost $350 and wound up putting a new battery in it as well. Total cost $900 and it runs like a well oiled sewing machine which of course a Honda should do.

Oh one last thing he also installed a Hindle full exhaust which gives it a nice bark.

It's just so nice to have a bike again

here's my $1500 buy

This is pretty much how it looked when I bought it. 1980 kZ1000 G1 with factory EFI. 19,000 miles (ish). I've added a few bit here and there. (I've got to get a better picture though).

1983 GS750T bought in 2005 with 14k on it for 1400. Sold it a year later with 22k on it after having been knocked over once by a guy in a parking lot, went through a ditch at 55mph diagonally, went down on it in slow speeds in thick ballast rock during a u-turn, and the cause for the sale; my only speeding ticket on a motorcycle, 86 in a 55 and still got my 1400 back

I stayed off of bikes for a year or so after realizing how I'd gotten too comfortable on them.....

Been back for 3 years now

and another pic....

I really have missed this one more than most others I've owned. Very high-tech for its time, fuel gauge, gear indicator displaying the gear you were in, 1-5, and a serious screaming 2nd gear sweet spot with that beautiful sound

But after the kind off stupid stuff I used to do back then, I'm blessed to be around and still riding 2 bikes later. Thank God for a little maturity and experience
