Goddammit Esben & Mini!

We've just arrived in Jackson Hole, seems our paths cross without us getting to see eachother...

We'll make up for it, maybe in WA late september?

Looks like you're really seeing some nice stuff around here... and this town is soooo cool!
Sonny and I plan on staying here in Jackson WY...maybe for a couple of days or three...

Fortsat go' tur!!!!

Heating up in Boise

So we left St Anthone togeher with Allen who was also heading to Boise.
It was a LONG LONG and HOT HOT ride.. but we did see the Craters of the moon on the way.
We got into Boise just before Happy-trail closed so we went to visit them.
and Kurt at Happy-Trail invited us to stay at hes place... THANKS YOU.. Those guys are just so nice..
after we set camp in Kurs backyard Tim, the owner of happy-trail came and took us out for dinner..
I got so many BBQ ribs that I didnt even have a change to finish...

So we went to bed tired and hot.. and we did sleep very nice for few hours.. until Kurts Garden sprinklers started and made a very wet shower...
We woke up Kurt and made him turn them off... What a night..

Today we got up and went up to Happy-trail again.. We needed new handlebars since the once we have is now really bend..
They didnt have any home but Tim made an order from WesternPowerSports who have a big warehouse in town..
after a few hours we borrowed Tims pickup and drove to pick up our new handlebars at the warehouse.. I have to tell you.. that place is HUGE.., but they do have free candy for the dealers who come and pick up their stuff.

Tonight we will go to the Western Idaho Fair that is just a few miles from here.

Us at Craters of the Moon
That is really a wierd place.. and HOT

And we got a night shower...
Damn sprinklers!!

We even cleaned the bikes today.. mostly be course we have to work on the them tomorrow..

but it was needed..

So now we are off the the fair.. talk to you guys tomorrow.

You are not the first person that has happened to. I got a wet surprise once camping in the city park in Meeteetse, WY. When traveling in the West, you have to be very suspicious of any lush green grass. It's a semi-arid climate, you know.

Nice to see you guys still tooling along with your ride, I getting cranked up here in the Northeast. Keep it up, nothing like running a RR on the road living out of a bag.

Well let me know if you are going to be in the Newport Beach area of Southern California. I am RIGHT off Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and would like to meet you two. I can show you some nice riding but we would have to pack it up and drive for a few hours.

Caves and Aliens

So we went out for a ride with Kurt and Dave from Happy-Trail.. Dave wanted to show us the area.

We went down to the local canyon.

Dave was the leader of the pack

He showed us the where alien had lived many year ago and learned the Indians how to draw on the rock... Or something like that..

Or maybe it was just decorations on an ancient couch.

We met some sand on the way and Camille tried to go around it... It worked our great but when she tried to come back onto the road she didnt see the edge on the side of the road..
But she just kept the throttle on and made it without falling..
Could you have done it over the edge in the left side of the pictures.

Daves showed us the local cave.. He played there as a kid.. He told us they crawled around down there for hours and hours.

A bug in the bike

So on the way today the bike started to act funny.. cutting out at high RPM.. it actually made me crash in the sand.. kind of hard to keep the bike going when its acting like that..

So tonight I took the carburetor of.. spend a long long time to get the screws of...
Everything looked fine until I got the bottum of.. Guess what I found..

An actual BUG.... Weird.

I have no idear hove thing little fellow got in there...

But now the bike is running fine again... No more BUGS for now.. Im just glad it wasnta GREMLING.... HAHA
