I don't mind sleeping in a tent on the grass but inside a lean-to, even one that leaks, means no heavy rain, no strong winds and no sleeping on a warm sponge. You can take everything out of the tent but keep it clean and dry while packing and unpacking.

Redverz tents are kind of famous for the luxury sport touring crowd. At @ $450 + ,then add on farkles. 13 pounds and you have to use stakes.

Its a little more than most need. I would want this to work on the bile in the rain however.

I lived off my motorcycle for 4 months last year in the colorado mountains and this is the tent I used

and this is my bike with all the stuff I had at the time when I was living on my motorcycle for 4 months
