They were doing a nice job with this one...

... until they tossed the "left over from the 70's YZ Monoshock" rear swingarm on the thing...?

The rest of the bike is nicely done, ans styled... the swingarm looks "borrowed".

I think its a stock swing arm and cantilever shock set up from a 1990-2000's Ducati ss -

I do believe you are correct rjf...

EDIT: my bad... on the original post I meant/should have written "what looks like a 70's YZ Monoshock swingarm"... not that they litterally did so... sorry.

and on the "ss" with the bodywork pipe and rear cowling on the original... it looks ok (disguised/hidden).

On the "naked bike" motard look though...?

Njaaa... still doesn't look "right" (to me)... With maybe some paint/powdercoat to blend in with the frame... or better yet make another swingarm (same geometry) but in a tubular/ladder frame construction, then powdercoated to match chassis...

The "box section" alloy look is what threw me...

Now you mention it every bike that's thrown me had a box section swing arm too

Yeah a swing arm like these would look better -
