I know I'm going on about this, but, imagine if you decided to build a four stroke motorcycle when all you had ever built was two strokes and then you got it absolutely dead right first time.

I started riding in the 60's and rode all those 70's and 80's bikes (new) and I can assure you they were mostly heaps of sh*t. It was an era where the Japanes put all their $'s into engines and what was left over went into frame design.

Many of the 70's bikes were so bad that anything over 110 kph induced a death weave. Tyres were absolutely critical and anything that wasn't a rib design meant "heart in mouth" riding.

They may be eye candy but man they were heaps of crap.
Not sure why people have nostalgia for some bikes. I like to photograph the older ones because they are shiny and you can see the metal bits.

Shape and colour also appeal to me.

I started riding in the 70s. Most of my bikes didn't wobble. Well, the Suzuki A100 did, especially when scraping footpegs thru roundabout at 60kmh. Footpegs were solid steel, not spring loaded.

Anyway, maybe those who own such bikes (other than A100), now ride them at a more leisurely pace!

For the enjoyment of inmates I will also post some other bikes.
