If you went camping and woke up with your keys in your ass...

would you tell anyone???

No???

Wanna go camping?

Just a general shout-out and invite. I hope to do a 2-week trip off road around Utah, Colorado and Nevada (mostly Utah). I want to leave around Labor Day and plan on camping the entire way.

I will be on an 950 SER so I will avoid anything too technical.

I haven't planned anything other than making sure the bike and my gear are in good working order. Outside of that, I have no plans other than going as minimalist as possible and as far as possible.

Any victims, er I mean compadres wanna join me? I promise not to drink your beer!

Edit: the first couple of pages are just smack talk - if you wan to get straight to the RR, go to page 2

You really picked up a 950? awesome.
The DRZ found a buyer?

You're gonna be tough to hang with on the next WRT ride.

That reminds me...

I told the doctor once to next time take the ring off and he said sorry that's not my ring, that's my watch.

No thanks, I'll pass on your invite.

This has got to be the oddest opening invite line I have heard in quite a while....

I promised the CFO I would at least try and find a riding partner before heading on this expedition alone.

Hick: "Honey, I promise. I posted a thread 2 months in advance looking for a riding partner. No one was interested...I don't know why."

CFO: "Nobody replied? Oh poor baby, you must feel so lonely. Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?"

Hick: "A dozen hot wings would make me feel better."

The Dizzer found a new happy owner. I put about 300 miles on her after the rebuild and she was running like a Swiss timepiece.

Right now, this is in my garage (the bike, not the mountain range):

This is one of the roads I plan on riding. It's really private...nobody will know!

Hick, with a lead in line like that I am surprised you got any responses

We used to have a saying down in the Keys.

If you drop your wallet in Key West kick it back to Islamorada before you bend over to pick it up......

Have a good ride but dont use that line on any strangers you meet....

I may be able to tag along for a few days... no way two weeks. My ass couldn't take being keyed for that long. KTM keys are small?? Right??

Roostre,

It will be good to have you join up. I will try and leave during Labor Day weekend so I don't have to use as much time off. Hopefully the rides will be in the less inhabited areas so we won't encounter much traffic.

I do hope to do the Kokopelli (on a 950), WRT, Kane Creek, Baxter Pass, Comb Wash, Burr Trail and a few others.

Anyone is welcome to join me for any or all of the ride.
