F800GS - Orange or White?

These are the colors for the 2010 models being assembled now... what would be your choice?

Nope. If the four colors were available in 2010, (yellow, gray, white and orange) I still would think of white or orange as preferred choices. The orange is the lava orange of the k1300, by the way.

Seriously there is a "lava" orange? That's almost as funny as "magnesium" gray.

These are not the official BMW colors. This is nice photoshop work by Springfish (check this thread http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=390237 )

The actual orange color is this:

I really like the black and yellow. I'm holding out hope for the lava orange metallic in the 2010 models. If it isn't any good then I'll search the country for an 09 new or used. I'm just curious if they have made any other changes to the 2010 models other than color.

Anyone know when the new models should hit the floor?

White is kinda cool, but I still prefer the military grey myself.

I was told "no changes for 2010, except for the colors".
But certainly the assembly process should be improved. Especially on what relates to clutch plates and a few other bits. Maybe the engines should be assembled in China? I would like to see what the white bike will look like before thinking of orange. Orange has too much of an association with... the Royal Dutch family. I've heard of another, although much smaller, MC manufacturer with some infatuation with the orange color as well.

but bmw doesn't have a "chosen" color that signifies them, so that arguement hold no merit. also the color thing is more of a mx/off-road thing anyway.

maybe it's black. or so some purists think.
they also have that red white & blue scheme, but they're a german co not a US co.

I would think it will be the same orange as the F800R
