Well, first of all, I don't have a problem with the KTMs (although they seem to have a problem with BMW, as they seem to be always criticizing BMW bikes).
Second, the orange is actually almost red. I guess seeing the bikes is different then pictures. The problem with the white, in my opinion, is the red lettering, and the white on the sides of the fake tank. I wish it was black, like the yellow and the orange are.

I wonder if the stickers are under the clear coat or on top of it? If on top, you could always peel the orange stickers off the white bike and order a set of the ones like on my (grey) bike.

Or get custom made blue ones!!

Hmmmm, I think Orange should be reserved for Laverda and KTM. Keeps up with established history and character. How could anyone at BMW marketing think that white and orange would be the best choices?

Problem is (or solution to the problem is), that when seeing them live, orange looked better to me.

Orange

White

Exactly my point. So white is an option. But why the red lettering?
I'll go orange.

I was a little put off by the orange from the internet pictures but after seeing it side by side with the white there wasn't a choice. The lava was for me.

Now the F650 lava orange is a difference story. Too much of the same color on the bike. The 800 black/orange mix is a better blend.

I was expectig so much from the white i got disapointed!
If they switched the yellow pannels for white ones, it would look awsome, but they used the grey layout for the white one, meaning extra panels are painted..... and the red letering..... bha
The orange looks god.... tough.... not as good as the yellow!

$20 for 2 cans of trim black paint. plus it's easy to get the black stickers. I don't know why people think that if you don't see it you can't do it.

I'd have to go with the orange, simply because it would look better covered in dirt than the white would. I've never owned a white vehicle that didn't look dirty within 5 min of washing, so the color might as well look decent even when dirty.

Besides, maybe the orange will bring some KTM karma, making the orange bike faster than the white one off-road......

My mother in law likes the orage cooler that they put on the Dodge Nitros. I told her BMW had just the bike for her. I think it looks cooper myself.

It is a lot brighter than the Duracell orange.
